Taylor released a statement on her re-election that said:

“I want to take this opportunity to thank the citizens of Henrico for their vote of confidence in me. I promise you all that I will continue to work, every day, to keep our community safe and secure and to keep those crime rates going down. I promise to keep working smart – to do everything I can to make sure criminals are behind bars, that those suffering from addiction get treatment, that juveniles have the opportunity to get on the right track and those with mental illness get the help they need.”

“I also want to take the opportunity to thank all the attorneys and staff in our office who work diligently every day, taking their responsibility to our community very seriously. I am fortunate to have such a dedicated staff, from top to bottom.”

Taylor first won the seat in 2011.
