RICHMOND, Va -- If you've ever dreamed of a service that delivered kittens to your hands, on demand, Uber is bringing your dreams to life Thursday.
The ride-sharing service is going to be delivering kittens in the Richmond area as part of 'Uber Kittens.'
Users will find an additional option in the app from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. that says 'Kittens.' After a user makes a request, an Uber car will show up to their location with kittens from the Richmond Animal League.
Customers get to play with the kittens for 15 minutes. The cost is $30, and the proceeds go to the Richmond Animal League.
The kittens are available for adoption through the Richmond Animal League, too -- so people who fall in love with a kitten delivered by Uber will have the option to do so.
Richmond is one of 50 cities participating in 'Uber Kittens.'
