It’s the weekend you’ve been waiting for. We’ll turn back the clock and finally get back that hour of sleep lost when daylight-saving time began last March.

You’ll need to set your clocks back an hour around 2 a.m. local time on Sunday, Nov 1. Most folks just move their clocks back before they go to bed. [SCROLL DOWN: Take our quiz on the time change.]

Additionally, many fire officials ask people to also change the batteries in their smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

However, some parts of the country are not having to switch their clocks back since they didn’t move their clocks forward in the first place — and are still on Standard Time. Most of Arizona, Hawaii, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico are some of the spots that don’t make the switch.

And for those of you who will miss the extra daylight, don’t fret.  Daylight-saving time will be return on Sunday, March 13.
