Blue Ridge Parkway, October 26
Peak fall colors currently cover all of western Virginia and are moving into central parts of the state. Cooler temperatures and recent rainfall will continue to allow the colors to increase.
High color is across much of the metro, and moderate color is currently in the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.
Some spots right near the West Virginia border have already peaked.
