RICHMOND, Va - Virginia This Morning Foodie Shayne Rogers was back in the kitchen with another ‘Shaynefully Delicious’ creation. Her sweet Bourbon Balls will be a hit at your next party or gathering.

1 ½ c chopped walnuts (optional)

½ c bourbon

2 c powdered sugar

3 c crushed chocolate graham crackers or chocolate wafers

1/3 c cocoa

1/3 c sweetened condensed milk

Melted chocolate, cocoa or powdered sugar for covering rolled bourbon balls.

Soak the walnuts (if using) in the bourbon for 2 hours before you plan to make this recipe.  In a large mixing bowl combine crushed crackers, powdered sugar, cocoa, milk, nuts and bourbon. Mix until all of the ingredients are moistened.  Wrap the mixture in plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for 3-4 hours or overnight.  Roll the chocolate mixture into 1” balls then coat in powdered sugar, cocoa or melted chocolate.  Store in an airtight container until ready to serve.  The longer the better.
