HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- This weekend, bring your tiny ghosts and goblins to the University of Richmond campus for the 17th annual “Trick or Treat Street.”
There will be a bounce house, pumpkin decorating, face painting, straw mazes and other themed activites. WebstUR, Richmond’s spider mascot, will also make an appearance.
“We love being able to provide a safe and fun environment for Halloween activities,” said Christina Shipe, a UR student and President of Trick or Treat Street. “We look forward to celebrating this fun holiday with local families.”
Hundreds of children attend this event with their families each year.
If anyone gets hungry for food other than candy, Firehouse BBQ food truck will be on site.
Guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or make a monetary donation to FeedMore, a local Richmond food bank.
The free community-wide service event takes place on Westhampton Green on Keller Road, which is off of College Road. Parking will be available on Crenshaw Way, outside the Jepson Alumni Center.
The even is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25.
