Satisfy your sweet tooth with this Cinnamon Chip Coffeecake

RICHMOND, Va - Leanne Fletcher from “Big Herm’s Kitchen & Catering” brought a sweet ending to our LIVE show by whipping up her Cinnamon Chip Coffeecake. This recipe is full of fall flavors like cinnamon, apples, and pecans. For more information you can visit online at www.bighermskitchenrva.com.

Cinnamon Chip Coffeecake

1 cup of butter (softened)

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

3/4 cup cinnamon applesauce

2 1/2 cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 2/3 cups of Cinnamon Chips

1 cup pecans ( chopped)

3/4 powder sugar

1-2 Tbls warm water

Directions

Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour fluted pan.

Beat butter and sugar until smooth. Add in eggs and vanilla. Next add in applesauce.

In separate bowl mix flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add it to butter mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. Pour into pan bake 45-50 mins.

While the cake isu baking make the glaze.  Put powdered sugar in a small bowl and warm water. Stir until smooth.

Once cake is out and cooled. Drizzle on the glaze. Enjoy
