BRUNSWICK COUNTY, Va. — Friends and family members of Brunswick Sheriff Captain Todd Cheely are asking for prayers. Cheely, 47, was rushed to the hospital Monday after he suffered a life-threatening medical emergency, his friends said.
The Brunswick County Sheriff said Cheely was slowly recovering, but not out of the woods.
