RICHMOND, Va. -- Police continue to search for clues into who killed a man on the city's Northside Saturday night. Richmond Police Officers were dispatched to a shots fired call in the 300 block of Hunt Avenue in the Providence Park neighborhood around 9:20 p.m.
When police arrived, they discovered a man's body in the road. The victim, who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Forensics detectives are collecting evidence and major crimes detectives are canvassing the area for information," Richmond Police spokesman James Mercante said. "The Medical Examiner will determine cause and manner of death."
