GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. — The Goochland County Sheriff’s Office have identified and obtained a felony arrest warrant for the suspect in the Goochland bank robbery on October 16.
The robbery suspect has been identified as Christopher M. Miller, 35, of Bath, Pennsylvania.
Miller was arrested in Tennessee and is currently being held at Blount County Sheriff’s Office, TN without bond.
Goochland County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Chesterfield County Police Department, North Coventry Township Police Department, PA, as well as the FBI Knoxville, TN Office during their investigation.
Goochland Sheriff’s Office officials said a man walked up to a teller at the Essex Bank in Centerville just before 10 a.m. with a note stating that he had a gun.
The suspect ran off on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was injured and the suspect did not display the gun.
The robber is described as a tall white male between 20-30 years old with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a khaki shirt, jeans and a khaki Philadelphia Phillies baseballcap.
Officials said the suspect may be in a silver or champagne colored sedan — possibly an Infinity G35 2005-2010 year.
