HENRICO COUNTY, Va - Police are searching for two men who robbed a Henrico grocery store at gun point while the store was closing. Officers responded to the Food Lion near the intersection of Brook Road and Parham Road late Wednesday night.

Customers and employees were inside the store, finishing their final transactions, when the men entered wearing dark clothing, masks over their faces, and carrying handguns, police said.

Investigators could not release what was taken, but said the robbery was "successful."

A witness was able to get a good look at the getaway car the men sped off in, and officers located an  abandoned vehicle fitting that description  in a neighborhood two miles north of the scene, on Lansdowne Road.

Police said they expect to release surveillance images of the robbery Thursday morning. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
