RICHMOND, Va. -- Skies will be mostly cloudy on Monday with just the slight risk of an isolated shower. It will remain breezy with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Clouds will begin to decrease from northwest to southeast late in the day, and the sun will return for everyone on Tuesday.

Dry and mild weather will be with us for the remainder of the week, with afternoon highs in the 70s. A cold front may bring a few scattered showers Friday evening into early Saturday morning.

Coastal flood warnings remain in effect until 8 p.m. Monday.  The most significant flooding will continue along the western Chesapeake Bay and tidal rivers. Moderate to major flooding will continue along the Rappahannock and York rivers (especially around high tide), and many low-lying roads will be under water.  The James River will crest by Monday evening, but much of the river should remain near or below flood stage.
