RICHMOND, Va. -- An area of low pressure to the south and a northeasterly wind will cause much cooler weather on Monday.   It will not rain all day, but there will be some batches of showers passing through, especially during the mid to late afternoon.  Due to the clouds, chance of showers and a northerly wind, highs in the metro will only be in the upper 60s/lower 70s Fahrenheit (20-22° Celsius).

Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy on Tuesday with just an isolated shower possible.  Highs will be in the mid/upper 70s (near 25° C).  Wednesday and Thursday should be mainly dry with highs closer to 80° F (27° C).

Low pressure to our southeast will get closer at the end of the week and bring the chance for a few showers back into the area.  Highs next weekend will be in the mid 70s (around 24° Celsius).
