Fund set-up to cover shooting victim Anthony Addison’s funeral costs

RICHMOND, Va. — A fund was established to help pay funeral costs for a man shot and killed Wednesday morning in Richmond. The Anthony “Main Main” Addison Memorial Account is available at Wells Fargo Banks. Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo branch.

“Please help this family so he can have a proper burial,” family friend Linda Jahnke said. “Anything will help. A little goes a long way.”

Addison was shot Wednesday morning at 11:42 a.m. on Accommodation Street in Richmond.

“Officers arrived and found Jawaun L. Hargrove, 33, of the 1700 block of North 19th Street and Anthony D. Addison, 21, of the 2100 block of Accommodation Street, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. They were transported to a local hospital where they died,” Richmond Police said. “Detectives are making good progress in the investigation thanks to tips received from the community.”

A vigil was scheduled Friday night near the shooting scene.
