Seattle, Wa.  — What won’t Amazon’s delivery service do?

The Seattle-based company has recently launched one-hour delivery, alcohol delivery — and now it’s offering free restaurant delivery.

The latest service, announced Tuesday in a press release, will allow Amazon Prime members in Seattle to order from dozens of local restaurants.

The feature will be available to members through Amazon’s Prime Now app.

The service is being offered in select zip codes around the city, but Amazon expects to expand the delivery areas in the coming weeks.

Customers will be able to view menus, place orders and track the status of their deliveries, which will be made within an hour.

Amazon said the new service will also provide customers with transparent pricing — there won’t be menu markups or hidden fees.

The new service will allow Amazon to compete with established companies like GrubHub, which merged with Seamless in 2013, and startups like Caviar that offer local delivery.
