Missing teen in Tazewell County found safe

TAZEWELL COUNTY, Va. — A missing Tazewell County teenager has been found safe.

Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office confirmed, Courtney Michelle Collins, 19, was found at approximately 3:15 p.m. Friday afternoon in the area of West Cumberland Rd. by officers with the Bluefield WV Police Department.

Collins was last seen Thursday on Route 460 near the Hilltop Motel in Tazewell County, southwest of Blacksburg.

“She was last seen wearing blue jean caprices and a black t-shirt with the words ‘Gangster Rap,’ her hair was in a ponytail, she has a pierced tongue and ears. Her right eyebrow has a scar on it and has a tattoo on her upper right arm of birds and upper left arm of a nautical star,” the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook. “She is a white female and is 5’4″ tall, 230 lbs, brown hair and eyes.”
