RICHMOND, Va. — Authorities said three people have been charged with vandalism after a slew of businesses were recently tagged with spray paint in Scott’s Addition.

Richmond police said three of the four people captured on surveillance have been charged with misdemeanor charge of vandalism/destruction of property.

Police said the three confessed to the tagging, said they were sorry and agreed to pay for the damage.

“They were each given a non-custodial summons – a misdemeanor since the damage was less than $1,000 – which means there are no booking photos and no names will be released,” Richmond Police spokesperson Gene Lepley said.

Police said the blonde male seen in the surveillance photos was not charged.

A reward was established after a slew of businesses were vandalized and over 10 police reports were filed, according to a real estate management company in the neighborhood.

Main Street Realty and “1 Scott’s Addition” offered a $150 reward to the first person that can positively identify the people seen in the images below.

Police said officers are contacting the business owners to get payment to the tipster.
