CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The names of the nine victims of the Charleston church shooting were spray painted on a Confederate monument in Charlotte, according to WBTV.

This is the second time the monument has been vandalized in three weeks.

The monument, located on North Kings Drive, between the Grady Cole Center and Memorial Stadium, now reads:

“The cause for which they fought – the cause of slavery – was wrong.”

The opposite side has a list of names of the people killed in the June 2015 shooting at Emanuel AME Church in Charleston.
