PETERSBURG, Va. – A mother driving her son home from karate class has a warning for other drivers after what she said happened to her along I-95 Wednesday evening in the Tri-Cities.

The woman told WTVR CBS 6 the incident happened when she was getting onto I-95 south and hit some debris Wednesday around 7 p.m.

Right after that, she said a tractor-trailer pulled up right behind her and began flashing his headlights.

The woman said she then pulled off at the Washington Street Exit because she assumed she had hit some debris and that the big rig driver was alerting her to something wrong with her car.

After she pulled over, she spotted the truck had also pulled up right behind her car.

Next, the woman said that trucker opened her front passenger door.

When she asked, "Do I have a flat tire?" She said that man he replied, “No, I just wanted to check you out.”

The woman managed to jot down the semi's license plate number and called state police.

Troopers said a description of the tractor-trailer has been distributed to law enforcement.

Virginia State Police are investigating the incident.
