CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Friends of Amanda Wolfe, a mother, Keller Williams realtor and former Richmond bartender, will come together Thursday night to honor her life and raise funds for her son.

Wolfe, 31,  died Friday in the parking deck at Haxall Point along the Canal Walk in downtown Richmond. Her death was being investigated as a suicide, Richmond Police confirmed. [UPDATE: Richmond Police clarify position on Amanda Wolfe’s death]

"We all walk through life with battles, and sometimes we can't reach out and ask for help cause life has started to move so fast and we feel like no one has time," a message left on a GoFundMe page dedicated to helping Wolfe's son and other family members read. "She was and is in our hearts still."

Thursday's fundraiser is scheduled to take place at the South Beach House. The restaurant is located at 13923 Hull Street Road in Midlothian.

"We will have items donated to be raffled," the event's Facebook page indicated. "We are so grateful for all your love and support, any help is appreciated."

Wolfe's funeral will take place Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the Catholic Church Of The Epiphany located at 11000 Smoketree Drive in Chesterfield.
