2 West End stores robbed in 3 days

HENRICO COUNTY -- Henrico Police released photos of a man wanted for two West End robberies. The first occurred Saturday, July 11, 2015, at approximately 6:40 a.m., at a convenience store in the 8700 block of Shrader Road.

"The suspect entered the convenience store and approached the clerk with a handgun, and demanded money. The suspect then removed money from the register, took tobacco products, and then fled the business on foot.  No injuries were reported," police said.

The second robbery happened Monday, July, 13, 2015, at approximately 4:50 a.m., at a convenience store in the 6300 block of Horsepen Road.

"The suspect approached the victim in the parking lot with a handgun and forced the victim inside the business.  The suspect then ordered the victim to place currency into a bag. After receiving the money, the suspect fled the business on foot.  There were no injuries reported in this incident also," police said.

In both crimes, the suspect was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, a ski mask, and light colored pants.

The suspect in the first robbery was described as:

Black male, approximately 25 to 30 years old, 5’5” to 5’8”, weighing between 150 to 160 pounds, with a light to medium complexion.

The suspect in the second robbery was described as:

Black male, 30 to 38 years old, 5’7” to 5’9”, weighing between 210 and 230 pounds.
