HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Police have made arrested two teens in connection with an April crime where a man was shot in the face.
The victim was found with non-life threatening injuries, inside a car at the intersection of Glenside Drive and West Broad Street just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday, April 18.
Police had received a call to respond to the 6500 Block of W. Broad Street for a report of shots fired. The vehicle and suspects had left the area when police arrived.
Carlos Maurice Johnson,age 18, was arrested.
A description and license plate of the vehicle along with suspect information was given out.
On Saturday, July 11, police arrested Kiante Malik Smith, 19, and Carlos Maurice Johnson,18. Both were charged with malicious wounding and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Johnson is from North Chesterfield, and Smith from Richmond.
Investigators said the victim was shot during a fight at the Richmond Magunson Hotel, a few blocks from where he was found.
