CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Newly release surveillance photos show a man with a gray beard robbing a Chesterfield gas station last Friday afternoon.
Chesterfield police said it happened at the East Coast at 13200 Kingston Avenue around 4:20 p.m. on July 3.
Police said the suspect entered the business, approached the clerk and demanded cash.
“After receiving cash, the suspect fled in a red sedan,” Chesterfield police spokeswoman Elizabeth Caroon wrote in a news release. “No weapon was displayed during the incident.”
The suspect was described as a black male about 50 years old and a thick build. He had a gray beard and was wearing black shorts, a black tank top and a black cap.
