Richmond Police release photos of suspect in Rite Aid robbery

RICHMOND, Va. — Richmond Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a suspect who robbed a drug store on Friday. At approximately 11:40 a.m. July 3, the suspect entered a Rite Aid, located at 6335 Jahnke Road. He flashed a handgun and stole prescription medicine, police said. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 210 pounds. He wore a white t-shirt, blue jeans and a black hat. He fled the scene on foot.

Detectives ask anyone with any information about this person to call Third Precinct Detective William Cutshall at (804) 646-1068 or call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
