Fredericksburg Police arrest 3 in case where victim was likely sleeping when shot

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Police have arrested three suspects related to the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Tesean Dorsey on June 20, 2015, but they have requested assistance locating a fourth suspect related to the incident.

The victim Dorsey appeared to have been shot while sleeping in his bed in his Greystone Court in Fall apartment, police said.

Investigators found two bullet holes in the walls of a top-floor staircase and questioned the residents of the apartment closest to the scene of the gunfire, Natatia Bledsoe with the Fredericksburg Police Department said. Both residents denied any knowledge of the incident.

The three suspects arrested are Nykema Barnett, 19, of Fredericksburg, Anthony Correa, 20, of Fredericksburg, and Derrick Morton, 18, of Gaithersburg. All  have been arrested on a felony charge of shooting into an occupied dwelling.

Kareem Rose

The Fredericksburg Police Department is requesting assistance in locating Kareem Rose, 21, of Bristol. He also faces a felony charge of shooting into an occupied dwelling.

Rose is a black male, approximately 5’9”, 170 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. Rose’s current location is not known. He is believed to be armed and dangerous. Rose is also wanted on warrants from Stafford and Tennessee.

The investigation is active and ongoing. Anyone that comes into contact with Kareem Rose or has information about him is urged to call the Fredericksburg Police Department at 540-373-3122.
