HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Police have release the name of the 29-year-old man killed in a two-vehicle wreck in eastern Henrico Thursday night that sent two other people to the hospital.

It happened along north Laburnum Avenue at Kingsridge Road not far from Nine Mile Road around 8:50 p.m. That's where witnesses said a white van and a Hyundai Sonata collided.

Police said a GMC Van was exiting from the apartments and attempting to turn left when the accident happened.

"Based on witnesses and some evidence left on the roadway, the Hyundai switched lanes from right to left when the van pulled out in front of the car," Henrico police officials said in a news release. "The Hyundai struck the driver side door and front of the van."

Police said the driver of the van, 29-year-old Andrew Vansickle of the 1000 block Old Williamsburg Road in Sandston, was not wearing a seat belt and was "partially ejected when the van rolled over." Vansickle died at the scene.

A passenger in the van and the driver of the Hyundai were transported to VCU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said their investigation into the wreck is on-going and that charges could be filed.
