HENRICO COUNTY, Va. -- Genworth has pulled the plug on its annual Fourth of July fireworks show.

"Because of the high probability of rain today and tomorrow, we are reluctantly canceling our 32nd 'Celebrate Freedom' concert and fireworks display originally scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m Friday, July 3 on the Genworth campus," Genworth spokeswoman Julie Westermann said. "The event will not be rescheduled."

Friday and Saturday will feature variable cloudiness and many dry hours, but there will be some scattered storms around at times both days with locally heavy rainfall, the CBS 6 Storm Team posted online.
