RICHMOND, Va. — Police identified the man shot and killed on St. John Street in Richmond Wednesday afternoon as 34-year-old Dante L. Suber, of the 2300 block of Ambrose Street. Police responded to the shooting in Gilpin Court at about 1:40 p.m.
Suber, officers said, was shot multiple times.
“He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries later that day,” Richmond Police spokeswoman Susan Rowland wrote in an email. “Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Major Crimes Detective Anthony Coates at 804-646-0729 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.”
