"We have a talented group of photojournalists who look to provide viewers with captivating video, moments and stories on a daily basis," Wilson said. "As storytellers, we strive for the viewer to not only watch a story, but to see it, hear it, and most importantly, feel it. This is an amazing honor awarded to us by the NPPA."

The National Press Photographers Association is dedicated to the advancement of visual journalism in all news media. This is the first time WTVR has received this honor, which recognizes the hard work and creativity of Chief Photographer Brad Wilson, as well as all of the station’s photographers: Eli Gardiner, Chris Munnings, Jack Rusak, Chris Norton, Lamar Person, Chris Jenkins, Bria White, Dustin Kelley, Tyler Conta and Jesse Burkett-Hall.
