RICHMOND, Va. -- A death investigation is underway off Durham Road in Richmond, in the parking lot of Diversity Thrift. Police arrived on scene Tuesday morning and roped off the street and parking lot, according to an eyewitness.

On scene, WTVR CBS 6 reporter Joe St. George confirmed a person was found deceased in the back seat of a vehicle. Police attempted to revive the man, but could not.

The investigation is underway in the back of the Diversity Richmond building, previously known as the Gay Community Center of Richmond.

Bingo games are held at the location several times a week. An employee told CBS 6 that the man had been at the Monday night game. The thrift shop is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
