HENRICO COUNTY, Va.  -- Shoppers at the White Oak Village Shopping center said they are in shock after learning about a recent arrest.

Henrico Police said a person was inside their car Friday in the Michael's parking lot. That's when shoppers noticed a man exposing himself in the car right next to him.

"That's pretty bad, seems a little deranged," said Joyce Neblett-Adams. She said it's pretty laid back around there, and the incident is all the more shocking because of it.

Shoppers said the alleged incident is concerning because a lot of children come to the shopping center.

"I hope that no child, nobody's kid had to go home to tell their mother that they are afraid to come to the mall because this had to happen," said one shopper.

Later that day, police arrested Jonathan Magee for indecent exposure.

"I guess it could happen anywhere, and it seems like it's happening more and more," said Neblett-Adams.

Still, shoppers said it appears that whoever would commit this type of crime may have something wrong with them.

"I hope that, if they are sick, and can get some type of help," said one shopper.
