POWHATAN COUNTY, Va. -- "I feel violated a lot. And now, I'm worried," said Kevin Penrose, owner, American Family Pawn and Guns.

For gun and pawn shop owner Kevin Penrose -- the worry stems from Monday's gun heist inside of his Powhatan business.

"By the time they got in here, they were in, 30 guns gone in 35 seconds. It's unbelievable how fast something can happen," said Penrose.

CBS 6 obtained an exclusive video showing the crime unfold.

It shows three men wearing masks and gloves breaking into a window. They then climbed inside the shop and smash the display cases and grab 30 semi-automatic handguns which included 9 mms, 380's, 45's, 40's, and 22 caliber weapons.

Then, the suspects got away.

“Law enforcement and the ATF feel that this has been staked out," said Penrose.

The Powhatan Sheriff's office and the ATF are working the case.

"I can only hope and pray that they're quickly recovered,” said Penrose. "They were stolen and they're going to go in hands of people that are going to be using them for the wrong reasons."

And Penrose is sending out this message to the criminals.

"I pray and I hope that somebody that knows that you stole those guns. I hope they do the right thing," said Penrose. "And turn you in because what you did was just downright wrong."

Reward offered

The person who provides investigators with information that leads to arrests following the theft of 30 guns from American Family Pawn in Powhatan could receive up to $6,000 in reward money. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) released photos of the May 18 break-in and firearms theft.

"During the early morning hours of Monday, May 18, 2015, 30 firearms were stolen during a burglary at American Family Pawn, located at 2427 Anderson Highway," an ATF spokesperson wrote in an email. "These firearms may pose a risk to public safety and investigators are seeking information that would aid in the resolution of this investigation."

While Crime Solvers offered a $1,000 reward for information, the ATF and National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) each offered $2,500 rewards.

"This reward is part of a larger national cooperative initiative between the NSSF and ATF in which NSSF matches ATF rewards in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed firearms retailers," the ATF spokesperson said. "The ATF works closely with members of the firearms industry to curb the criminal acquisition and misuse of firearms."

Anyone with information about the thefts was asked to call the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives confidential tip line at 1-888-ATF-TIPS (1-888-283-8477) or contact the Powhatan County Sheriff’s Office at 804-598-5654 or Crime Solvers at 804-403-HELP (804-403-4357).
