HANOVER COUNTY, Va. – According to the Hanover County Sheriff's Office, Jason and his son Jameson Pollard have been located in Greenville, North Carolina. Police say that Jameson is in good health and arrangements are currently underway to reunite Jameson with his mother.
The North Carolina State Police conducted a traffic stop on Jason Pollard for speeding in Greenville, N.C. As a result of that stop, Pollard was arrested for speeding, DUI, Open Container of Alcohol, No Child Restraint, Child Endangerment, and Child Neglect.
He is currently being processed for these charges. He is being held in the Pitt County Detention Center and will be arraigned at 8 a.m. on Monday.
Hanover investigators will continue to collect all relevant information and determine if criminal violations in Hanover County are appropriate.
Earlier Saturday, investigators continued to work on the case of missing two-year-old Jameson. Pollard had last been last seen on Thursday leaving his Hanover County home with his 24-year-old father Jason S. Pollard.
Jason Pollard, according to investigators, is bi-polar and may be in a manic state.
Police confirmed Saturday that Jason and Jameson Pollard stayed at the Clarion Inn at 1809 West Mercury Blvd. in Hampton, Va.
According to the Hanover County Sherriff’s Office, the two checked in on Thursday evening and checked out on Friday at just before 9:00 p.m.
Witness reported that Jimi appears in good spirits. Tidewater area law enforcement agencies were notified along with the Virginia State Police in eastern Virginia.
Pollard was described as a white male, six feet tall, about 190 pounds with black hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a shirt (unknown description), blue jeans, and black Nike high-top tennis shoes.
