RICHMOND, Va. — Walmart has opened a temporary hiring center to fill up to 95 positions at its new Walmart Neighborhood Market store at Brook Road and Azalea Avenue.  The center will accept applications Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. You can also apply online or call 804-264-2459 for more information.

“Walmart is a company with many opportunities for professional growth, and we are excited about finding wonderful new associates to join us,” store manager Dan Tucker said.

Most of the new hires must be ready to work in May, ahead of the store’s grand opening. As part of its Walmart’s Veterans Welcome Home Commitment, Walmart will offer a job to any qualified veteran who has been honorably discharged within the past 12 months.
