Que PasaQue Pasa? Festival Of Virginia, Saturday, May 2nd, 11am – 7pm along the Canal Walk in Historic Downtown Richmond, free canal boat rides canal boats throughout the festival, food, entertainment featuring Ban Caribe, Bolivian Dancers and other live music, artisans and vendors, the event is free and open to the public, details visit http://www.quepasafestival.com.

Arts in The Park Show and Sale in Byrd Park, May 2nd 11am – 6pm and May 3rd, 11am – 5pm. More than 450 artists from around the U.S. will display everything from fine art paintings to jewelry and weaving’s. Arts in the Park is recognized as one of the top art shows in the country and is an event people around the entire state of Virginia look forward to each year. Friday Cheers season opens Friday, May 1st through June 26th, concerts are every Friday, 6pm to 9:30pm on Brown’s Island. Spirit of the Heart – Community Health Fair hosted by the Association of Black Cardiologists, Saturday, May 2nd, 10am – 4pm at The Greater Richmond Convention Center. Heart Disease is the #1 killer in the Richmond community.  The focus is on healthy living, reducing risk factors, exhibitors and health screenings. There will be Yoga with Enhance Your Health, Zumba with Karla Luster and Fit Outside the Box, “Hidden Sugars” Presentation by Martin’s Food Markets, Food Demonstration with tasty samples from Whole Foods Market and Edible Education, “In-Home Exercises” with Antoine Francisco King.
