HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — A woman kicked and bit police officers during a traffic stop on Interstate 64, according to police. Laticia Barbara Harris-Walker, 23, of Shore Meade Street in Chesterfield, was charged with three counts of assault on law enforcement, resisting arrest, driving under the influence and refusal after the incident, Henrico Police spokesman Lt. Chris Eley confirmed.

Police pulled Harris-Walker over early Thursday morning on Interstate 64 near Interstate 195 for suspicion of DUI.

“During the investigation, Walker became uncooperative and officers attempted to place her under arrest for driving under the influence,” Eley wrote. “During the arrest, Walker assaulted police on three occasions by kicking and biting officers.”

One of the charges Harris-Walker faces indicates she has been arrested for DUI within the last five years.
