Accident causes delays on I-95 north in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — A crash is causing backups along Interstate 95 in Chesterfield County Wednesday morning.

VDOT said that the right lane of I-95 north was closed just north of Willis Road for less than an hour. The lane reopened around 7:50 a.m.

However, a 4.5 mile backup remained as of 7:50 a.m.
