Crook drops gun on floor before robbing Richmond store

RICHMOND, Va. -- Police released video of two men accused in three Richmond convenience store robberies in the last week. The men even robbed the same store twice in that span, according to police.

The men were accused of robbing the Four Corners Express at 415 East Broad Rock Road Sunday around 10:44 p.m. Video released by police appeared to show one of the suspects drop his gun upon entering the store. He quickly recovers, picks up the gun and robs the clerk behind the counter.  The same men are suspected of robbing the same store Tuesday night.

They are also accused of robbing the FasMart Convenience Store at 2107 Semmes Avenue on around 12:27 a.m. Friday, March 27. No one was hurt during the robberies.

"The first suspect is described as a black male, 20-25 years of age, 5’6”, with a thin build. The second is described as a black male, 5’6”, with a stocky build," police said. "They were seen leaving the area in a white vehicle, possibly a Buick or Oldsmobile."
