RICHMOND, Va - Susan Leghart, President of Jill’s Blankets, and Mike Ward, Chairman of Jill’s Blankets, invite you to their ‘Glitter & Glue Event: An Evening with Kelly Corrigan.’ Jill’s Blankets is a non-profit organization that creates handmade polar fleece blankets for donation to chemotherapy patients in the community. The organization was created in memory of Jill Ward, a wife, mother, and friend who battled pancreatic cancer until she passed away in July of 2013. Even while sick, she managed to make blankets for others in need, and Jill’s Blankets wishes to continue her legacy. New York Times Bestselling author Kelly Corrigan in a University of Richmond Alumnus and will be the featured guest of the ‘Glitter & Glue’ benefit event.
