RICHMOND, Va - Dr. Jayanthi N. Koneru, Cariologist at VCU Medical Center’s Pauley Heart Center, visited the studio to talk about atrial fibrillation and an exciting new treatment option patients can receive. February is American Heart Month, and Dr. Koneru walked us through the different signs and symptoms of atrial fibrillation, as well as how to prevent A Fib from developing. VCU Medical Center is one of the few hospitals in the country that uses a new treatment called hybrid ablation, a minimally invasive procedure with great benefits to patients.
