RICHMOND, Va. – You may have noticed something different from local police cars on Friday night. The Richmond Police Department began their “Blue Light Special” campaign.
Most Richmond Police vehicles will display two constant blue lights lit on the light bar.
“It’s a way to be more visible to the community,” says Capt. Gary Ladin.
But, as always, if the blue lights are flashing, pull over.
