KING WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. — A chimney fire that spread to the roof of a home on Cherryhill Circle in King William County remains under investigation, according to officials with the King William County Sheriff’s Office. No one was injured in the fire which was first reported at about 10 a.m. Sunday.
When firefighters arrived at the home, the flames had already spread to the roof. The fire eventually made its way down into the home.
Sheriff’s officials believed two people were inside the home at the time of the fire.
