RICHMOND, Va - Dr. Joanna Horstmann, Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU, visited the studio to share some information about ACL injuries and prevention. ACL tears and other knee injuries are becoming more common in younger patients because of various factors, but Dr. Horstmann says there are ways to avoid injury and strengthen the muscles that protect the ACL and other ligaments.
