Looking to earn some extra cash? Kings Dominion wants to hear from you

DOSWELL, Va. — Kings Dominion wants to hire 1,600 people before the theme park opens to the public on March 29. Kings Dominion is looking to hire in all departments, including food and beverage, games, merchandise, rides, aquatics, admissions and security. The 1,600 spring jobs are part of the nearly 4,000 jobs Kings Dominion will hire throughout the 2015 season.

“Entry-level, as well as supervisory positions, are available to qualified applicants,” Kings Dominion communications manager Katelyn Curry explained. “Kings Dominion will hire an additional 800 associates throughout the spring to prepare for the park’s daily summertime operation.”

Kings Dominion needs more lifeguards to keep park goers safe on the new water attractions at the recently expandedSoak City.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer employment to those looking for a summer job or those applicants looking for additional hours to supplement their current job,” Kings Dominion Human Resources Director Greg Talley said.
