RICHMOND, Va -- A strange coincidence in Dumfries, Virginia landed an Alexandria man in jail.
According to WUSA, Police said 27-year-old Shawn Michael Robertson was driving a Ford Crown Victoria on Thursday in Dumfries when he shined a light on another driver and pulled him over. Robertson is not a police officer.
What Robertson did not know is that the man he pulled over, was.
When the officer identified himself, Robertson sped off. He was able to get away, but he turned himself in later.
He was being held without bond.
