CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — A lumber truck headed north on Branders Bridge Road (Rt. 625) crashed near Treely Road in Chester, according to VDOT.
The truck spilled its lumber load and about 20 gallons of diesel fuel after the crash.
The spill has been contained, according to crews on scene.
The driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
A detour was set-up to help drivers get around the area. Drivers can use Harrowgate Road as an alternate route.
