Man robs Chesterfield convenience store at knifepoint

CHESTERFIELD, Va. – Police are looking for the man who robbed a Chesterfield convenience store at knifepoint.

Investigators tell CBS 6 the man walked into the La Tapatia convenience store in the 17000 block of Jefferson Davis Highway around 7:30 Monday night, displayed a knife and demanded money. After getting the cash, he left the area on foot.

Police say the suspect is white male between 25 and 35 years of age. He’s described as 5 foot 10 inches in height with a slender build. Police say at the time of the robbery he was wearing a light brown coat with a hood, a scarf over his face and gloves.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
