RICHMOND, Va. — Famous Dave’s, the chain that shuttered its Richmond restaurants earlier this week, is allowing its Central Virginia customers to cash in their gift cards.

As of Monday, the three Famous Dave’s locations on W. Broad Street, Midlothian Turnpike, and Brook Road were already closed.

Famous Dave’s said Tuesday that customers can mail their gift cards back  to the company.

You can send your gift cards to:

Famous Dave’s
377 East Butterfield Avenue #300
Lombard, IL 60148 .

Be sure to include your name, address, phone number and email address. Once Famous Dave’s receives your card, the company will send an email with the card’s value along with when a refund check will be mailed.

The company also said that the gift cards — as well as bonus cards — can be used at the chain’s other restaurants, like the location in Fredericksburg.

The CEO of Famous Dave’s indicated that the closures are part of a strategic financial reevaluation “that will drive the greatest increase in company performance and long-term, per share, shareholder value.”
