All-clear issued after police investigated bomb threat near Virginia State Capitol

RICHMOND, Va. — Nothing suspicious was found after police investigated a bomb threat near the 800 block of East Broad Street in downtown Richmond.

Earlier Capitol Police requested Library of Virginia Staff and visitors remained inside the building, according to a notification from the Virginia State Capitol Alert Network.

The police investigation focused on a threat made in the area of 8th and Broad Streets.
