RICHMOND, Va - Smithfied Marketing Manager Katie Simmons visited the studio to share how you can pay it forward this holiday season. From now until December 24th, each time the “#LendAHam” hashtag is used on Twitter or on the Smithfield Facebook page, Smithfield will donate one serving of protein to those in need. Their goal is to reach up to one million servings by the end of 2014. They have joined up with Little Big Town’s Kimberly Schlapman to pay it forward all through the season by feeding one million people.
